How to connect a player to a location

To get music playing in your venue, link a player to a location. The web player opens from the console. In the mobile app you sign in with your own account and pick a location, so there are no codes to enter.

What you need: a location you have created and a player on your device: the web player in a browser or the mobile app.

Web player: from the console

  1. In the console open Locations and pick the venue or zone.
  2. On the location card click Open player. The web player opens in a new tab and starts playing on the location’s schedule.
  3. Keep the tab open for as long as you need music.

Mobile app: sign in with your account

  1. Install Harmonia for Business from Google Play and sign in with the same email you use for the console.
  2. In the app open the list of locations and pick the venue or zone where the device is.
  3. Done: the device is linked to the location and starts playing on its schedule. No codes to enter.
The app can play without internet: music you downloaded in advance keeps playing even if the connection drops. The web player needs a constant internet connection.

One player per location

Only one player plays on a location at a time. If the app is already playing at a venue and you open the web player (or the other way around), the console asks whether to switch devices. This way music never plays from two places at once.

Player is silent after connecting? Most likely it is outside working hours on the location’s schedule, or no playlist is assigned to it. Open the location and check the schedule and playlists.
