What you need: a venue where the web player is playing right now. The phone app does not play greetings yet.
How to play one
- In the console open Music Inserts and choose a location. “On air · web player” should be lit next to it.
- Choose a greeting. The Listen button plays it only for you, it will not sound in the venue.
- Click Play in the venue. After a couple of seconds the greeting sounds in the venue, and the page shows “Playing in the venue” and how much time is left.
When the greeting ends, the music returns by itself. To stop it early, use the End and resume music button in the console or the End button in the player itself. The player also has its own Greeting button: you can start one right from the device in the venue.
- The library has several versions: full, short, warm, kids, instrumental and others. They are prepared by Harmonia, and you cannot upload your own.
- Only one insert plays in a location at a time. Ads do not play during one.
- You can close the console page: the greeting finishes and the music returns without you.
- If the venue was paused, the greeting still plays, and after it the venue stays paused.
Says “Player offline”? The web player tab is closed or the device lost internet. Open the player from the location card. The section is rolling out gradually: if it is not in your menu yet, it will appear soon.
