This is the service’s own catalog. Our tracks are not registered with performing rights organizations (PROs) such as ASCAP, BMI, SOCAN, PRS for Music, APRA AMCOS, GEMA, JASRAC or LMKN, so playing music from our catalog does not create PRO fees for that music. You can play it in cafes, restaurants, shops and other public places as part of your subscription.
How to get the document
- Open the Certificate section in the console.
- Click Issue certificate and tick the locations. They are grouped by company, and locations with a valid certificate show “Issued until …”.
- The document downloads as a PDF (a ZIP archive if you chose several venues). You can show it during an inspection.
Whose details are on the document
The licensee on the document is the company the location is registered under. You entered its company registration details and tax ID in “Billing” when you added the company. If some details are missing, the certificate asks you to fill them in on the spot and saves them for next time. The location’s address is filled in automatically and cannot be changed after the certificate is issued.
A certificate is issued per location and covers its zones, so you do not need a separate document for a zone. Added a new venue? Issue a certificate for it too.
Personal streaming accounts (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music) are licensed for personal, non-commercial use only, and their terms forbid playing them in a business. Music from our catalog is made for business use.
